Cellphone Law Goes Into Effect July 1
New legislation goes into effect July 1st that prohibits any motor vehicle operator from using a wireless telephone while driving and it prohibits all drivers under the age of 18 from driving while using any mobile device. EMPLOYEES OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCED
The Academic Senate recently announced its 2007-08 Outstanding Employees. Selected as the "Outstanding Faculty" were Professor Carolyn Inmon, Communications; Professor Iraj Nejad, Chemistry; and Professor Kumiko Noriega, Foreign Languages. The "Outstanding Classified Employee" selection was Eula Gray, Student Life Clerical Specialist. President John Nixon was selected as "Outstanding Administrator." Congratulations to this year's honorees. They will be featured soon on this homepage, replacing the current honorees pictured above.
