| The Humanities and Social Sciences Division is comprised of the American Language,
Communication and Journalism, English and Literature, Foreign Languages, History,
Geography and Political Science, Psychology and Education, Sign Language, and Sociology and Philosophy departments.
The division sponsors interdisciplinary and national award-winning programs and publishes the
student newspaper, The Mountaineer, through journalism courses. The division also has a
nationally ranked forensics program and a successful Study Abroad program. |
